In this project, P&AUSE will be providing a different learning yet fun experience to a select number of kids to the Manila Zoo, featuring its newest attraction, the Kinder Zoo. This activity aims to bring children who are not privileged enough to experience such a simple activity yet can make a difference for their future. This may not only be a visit to the zoo but to related educational institutions as well, such as the Museo Pambata. This project is done in cooperation with Children’s Hour and the Ayala Life Foundation.

A great number of P&AUSE volunteers expressed their intentions to participate in Habitat for Humanity’s future endeavors. In cooperation with the Makati Business Club (MBC), P&AUSE has kept its commitment by participating in MBC’s activity with Habitat by providing manpower resources in building houses for deserving recipients. This project is made possible through MBC’s partnership with the Manila City Hall, the National Housing Authority, and the National Anti-Poverty Commission.

After donating P140,000 through Give a Life Foundation, proceeds were used to renovate the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Ospital ng Maynila (OM). The pediatric ICU was in honor of P&A’s Chairman Emeritus Jose G. Araullo. P&AUSE returned to OM and visited not only the completed P&A pediatric ICU but to continued the support in uplifting the lives of the children who suffer from their illness coupled with their families’ lack of financial resources.
